Aussie Open: 10 stunning photos of Novak Djokovic from his match vs. Roger Federer

Novak Djokovic beat Roger Federer in the semifinals of the Australian Open on Thursday in Melbourne, winning in straight sets, 7-6 (1), 6-4, 6-3, despite a strong start from Federer.

The 32-year-old Serbian player is one win away from his eighth Australian Open title, and in fact, he’s never lost this tournament’s championship match. And should win back-to-back Aussie Opens, he’ll be one step closer to catching Federer’s and Rafael Nadal’s Grand Slam totals.

Djokovic has made some serious progress in the last couple years, and another Australian Open win would give him 17 Grand Slam wins, compared with Federer’s record 20 and Nadal’s 19.

Obviously an exceptional athlete, Djokovic’s agility and flexibility are typically on display when he’s on the the court. Thursday’s semifinal against Federer was no different, and photographers on site at Melbourne Park captured some stunning images of Djokovic’s body doing some incredible things.

Here are the highlights of our favorites.
